Hydrogen Energy

A renewable resource for a sustainable future.

What is Hydrogen Energy

Hydrogen Energy is a renewable resource that produces only water as a byproduct when used in a PEM (proton exchange membrane) fuel cell. Made from a vast array of domestic sources, including renewable energy sources, hydrogen’s power and efficiency offer a cost-effective clean energy source that does not produce greenhouse gases.

Terravis Energy Hydrogen Solutions

The hydrogen economy is here. Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe, producing only water as a byproduct. We are committed to innovating new solutions using our new and improved Hydrogen Fuel Cell design and concepts. Benefits of hydrogen energy include:

Efficient & Cost-Effective

NPEV DC Fast Charger

A stand-alone fast-charger completely off-grid, the Terravis Energy NPEV can be placed where it is needed without traditional restrictions, facilitating the adoption of BEVs outside of high-density areas, thereby reducing harmful emissions. With the first prototype potentially producing 120kWh with two CCS connectors, the average BEV could charge up to 80% in less than half an hour.

NPEV + H2 EV Fast Charger + Hydrogen Refueling Station

A single solution that offers fast-charging for BEVs combined with an H2 refuelling station for HFCEVs (Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles). This is the hybrid standard for all zero emission vehicles, at 120kWh output a full charge is expected to take 20-30 minutes.

Terravis Energy Nanogrid

With an operational zero footprint, the Terravis Energy Nanogrid is a modular power generation system that can be custom-designed to suit the needs of any homeowner. Small in scale, but big on power, the Nanogrid requires only water to operate and gives the homeowner the option of selling power back to the grid.

Microgrid Energy

A series of nanogrids combined to activate high-power outputs, the Terravis Energy Microgrid can power an entire community or data centre. Designed by Terravis Energy engineers to be a clean, renewable energy using our patented Hydrogen Fuel Cells, the Microgrid is the energy of the future.

Air
O2 from ambient air and CO2 and H2o from anode

Negative ions travel through the electrolyte to the anode where they combine with hydrogen to generate water heat and electrons.

Electrons from the anode cannot pass through the electrol yte to the positively charged cathode; they must travel around it via an electrical circuit, creating the electrical current.

How a PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) works

A fuel cell combines hydrogen and oxygen to produce electricity, heat and water in a highly efficient process that avoids the emission of pollutants.
